Bonjour tout le monde,
Mon nom est Gen et je suis un des newser de Pokémon Trash, un site web français spécialisé dans les Pokémon. Aussi, comme je vis au Japon en ce moment, je suis plus ou moins responsable des news dans le pays. 俺は日本に住んでるフランス人のポケモントレーナーだ。ポケモントラシュってウェブサイトと働いてるよ！！
Donc, juste pour parler du sujet réel de cet article. J’ai eu un voyage d’affaire avec ma boite mardi et mercredi. 4 heures d’entretiens avec des négociants en marché c’est chiant, surtout quand on n’est qu’un observateur. Bref, j’ai pu négocier avec mon boss un jour de congé le mercredi pour couvrir l’évènement “rencontres 2007 de Tomy”(タカラトミーグループ 夏商談会=なつしょうだんかい＝natsu shoudan kai), où une annonce Pokémon était attendue.
Quand on découvre que l’évènement Pokémon annoncé concerne une pauvre borne d’arcade pour enfant, il y a de quoi être déçu. En gros, après la présentation de la borne d’arcade (la mal nommée Pokémon Battrio), j’ai fait un tour dans la salle histoire de poser quelques questions.
Ça s’appelle faire son gaijin pour les japonais. C'est-à-dire mettre son grain et foutre la merde un peu partout. Pour moi ce n’est qu’un peu de curiosité.
Mes questions ont fini par attirer l’attention d’une jeune japonaise (mignonne en plus). Pourquoi ?
1) Être un étranger à Tokyo c’est un gros avantage pour engager une conversation.
2) Si la conversation se fait en japonais, vous êtes un demi-dieu pour les japonaises
3) Être fan de Pokémon et venir couvrir un évènement Pokémon à Tokyo, là vous êtes… Ben je ne le dis pas. Mais c’est cool !
Assez cool pour avoir fini avec son numéro de téléphone en peu de temps en tout cas ! Bref, la conversation s’engage, je lui dis que j’ai été déçu de mon déplacement ; j’en attendais plus sur ce nouveau jeu pokemon.
Ma curiosité la gène un peu au début, mais très vite elle se décoince. Ça fait plaisir de parler avec un français en japonais pour une japonaise, que voulez-vous ?
De fil en aiguille, elle me dit que la conférence a subi un changement de dernière minute. Au début, une autre chose devait être montrée mais les plans ont changés au dernier moment à cause d’un problème juridique et strategique. ! On peut penser que Nintendo souhaite nous faire attendre, ou alors que cette annonce est trop précipitée. Les ordres viennent d'en haut !
Comme on avait bien discuté avant, j’arrive à la convaincre (innocemment) de m’en dire plus à ce sujet. Elle m’emmène alors dans une pièce cachée derrière la scène de la présentation. Elle va alors vers un sac plastique noir et en sort un boîtier, qu’elle me montre.
La jeune fille en question m’a laissé prendre une photo en vitesse - à ne pas diffuser mais elle ne lira probablement jamais ce site donc bon. Regardez.
Version OPALE
(Le cadre noir est dû a la jeune fille qui veut conserver l’anonymat, et aussi au soutien de Pokémon Trash… Vous pouvez voir les mains de la jeune fille sur le cliché original.)
La version Opale, équivalent de Emeraude mais pour la Génération 4.
Cette version du boîtier n'est pas définitive, il ne s'agit apparament que d'une "version bêta". Peut-être est ce pour ça que Nintendo a retardé l'annonce, le boîtier doit encore être amelioré.
La dernière information dont je dispose est l’add-on dont disposera cette version : Le Battle Frontier ferait son retour. Avec une fonction Wi-Fi?
Mais plus d’informations sûrement sur ce jeu dans le Corocoro du samedi 14 avril qui sera dans mes mains le matin même. A moins qu'ils fassent encore durer le suspense ?

Okay, Just to speak about the real subject of this article. I had a business trip with my company or Tuesday and Monday. You can sum up that by having a boring 4-hour meeting with Japanese guys specialized in market negotiations, so not so wonderful thing, is it ? The good part in business trip is that I negociated the second day off to because of a special event. Tomy (タカラトミー) and AQ interactive (AQインタラクティブ) presented a new game in their office on Wednesday evening for the event called summer business-talk meeting 2007 (タカラトミーグループ 夏商談会=なつしょうだんかい＝natsu shoudan kai).
Impatient, I was expecting the new game that all the websites talked about for few weeks, so you can imagine my deception when I saw a poor arcade game… I hoped that Nintendo will talk about this game a bit before that the new Corocoro will be published (next saturday). How can you imagine as I was deceived after discovering this FUCKING SHIT of Pokémon Battrio.
To be shorter, after the presentation of this shitty Pokémon Battrio, I walked around the room to try to ask questions. And I caught the attention of one of the responsible of the public relations, a young girl, because I began to talk to her in Japanese. You can’t imagine how it is an advantage in Tokyo to be a foreigner and to speak Japanese!!! So, not to give details about my private life…
I told her how I was deceived about this presentation; I was expecting the new pokemon game. To be a foreigner and to speak Japanese, this fact is enough rare in Tokyo to be noticed. But if you are at a pokemon event and you say that you work for a French website because you are a fan of pokemon. It’s a privilege for a Japanese girl to speak with this kind of gaijin (外人＝がいじん＝foreigner). So, I caught her phone number and we began to be closer to each other.
The power of a foreigner is great!!! As she was a member of the staff, she told me that at the beginning the meeting speaker wanted to do a surprise to everybody, but plans changed at the last moment because of a strategical problem with Corocoro.
By being closer, I convinced her to tell me more about that, so she led me to a small office hidden behind the meeting place.
We entered. She put out of a bag written Nintendo on it a kind of box. I couldn’t recognize it at the beginning. But when I saw what it was really, I just couldn’t believe it was the truth!!!
She let me take 1 picture. And here it is!!!!!! This picture is easily understandable by itself!!!!

This is the OPALE version!!!
The equivalent of Emerald version but for the Fourth Generation !!!! The last information is that a kind of Battle Frontier will be created for this version. With a Wi-Fi fonction? Just enjoy!!
