This photo was taken during a small outing(release) in the Dune of Pilat.
The Dune of Pilat which is situated in the south entrance(entry) of the Bay of Arcachon, she(it) extends over 500 m from east to west and on 2,7 km from north to south and contains approximately 60 million cubic meters of sand.
The Dune of the pilat is the highest dune of Europe (current height: 110 m).
This photo shows the top of the Dune which extends near the sea.
