What we want from the Pokemon X and Y presentation: As well as Nintendo Direct on 11 June, there is also a special Pokemon presentation that will be focusing on Pokemon X and Y. In a special blog, Marti Bennett will talk about what the fans want to find out about the huge 3DS games at the show.

Tuesday 11 June

Nintendo Direct (3pm UK time): The big one! This is the show that will replace Nintendo's traditional E3 conference and we'll find out about the Wii U and 3DS games that are coming up from Nintendo for the rest of the year. Expect 3D Mario, Mario Kart Wii U, Smash Bros Wii U screenshots and lots, lots more. We don't know what will be in the show but we'd also hope to see more of Pikmin 3, Zelda: Wind Waker Wii U, The Wonderful 101, Zelda: A Link To The Past 2, Yoshi's Yarn, X - the new game from Monolith, Retro's new game and more... maybe even a game that hasn't been announced yet.

Nintendo's E3 media showcase (5.30pm UK time): Shigeru Miyamoto and Reggie Fils-Aime will be hosting a showcase for the media in LA, the primary purpose of which is for journalists to get the opportunity to play the games before E3 opens an hour later. It doesn't seem likely that this will be streamed but Chandra will be there and if Miyamoto or Reggie were to announce anything, you'll find out about it on ONM. You can also expect to read Chandra's gameplay impressions in his E3 diary. For full in-depth previews, buy ONM on 4 July.

It wouldn't be unprecedented if something was announced here - Miyamoto has used the roundtable event to show off the first Zelda: Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword concept artwork and keep us up to date with Pikmin developments. Did you know that it was in 2008 when Miyamoto announced that Nintendo were working on another Pikmin game? Five years later and it still hasn't come out! Not long to go though.

Pokemon X and Y presentation (2am UK time): Game Freak director Junichi Masuda and Pokemon Company president Tsunekazu Ishihara will be hosting a Pokemon X and Y presentation at E3 2013. The presentation will be followed by a Q & A session. As far as we're aware, this isn't being streamed but Chandra will be there and will keep you up to date with all the news from the show.
